The Financial Compliance Unit (FCU) at Global Affairs Canada (GAC) required a web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to support its financial compliance unit, audit firms, and NGOs. The existing legacy system had reached end of life and was no longer able to support the needs of the organization.. GAC needed to transfer the data into a modern, purpose-built system to handle large volumes of information.
OXARO was able to support, maintain, and enhance the legacy computing environment while leading the transition to more advanced technologies to meet GAC’s needs. The future state technology solution provides the FCU with administrative capabilities to manage key functionalities, such as workflow creation, report generation, and benchmarking on key information.
The OXARO solution includes Protected B cloud hosting, audit program management, and accessibility to NGOs for uploading supporting documentation.
Our team supports GAC with the administration of various Grants & Contributions (Gs & Cs) programs by providing the FCU with a Protected B web-based portal. This solution modernized FCU’s internal operations and leveraged insights to support their monitoring activities in GAC’s (Gs & Cs) programs. It also provides FCU with an enhanced ability to collect and analyze results from the Financial Capacity Building Activity and compliance audits. Further, the web-based portal supports FCU by providing user-friendly reporting and visualization features that summarize results and data.
OXARO was responsible for the following deliverables:
Protected B cloud compliant solution, including ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018 and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
We were able to maintain the existing system and effectively transition into a new SaaS solution.
